Setting up on court
Put your phone on a tripod behind the baseline, at about chest height, in landscape, so the whole court is in frame — the far baseline included. Press record and play. The app finds the shots afterwards, so there is nothing to tap during the session.
Some of my shots are missing
Shots are found by the sound of the ball on the strings, so a quieter strike, a lot of wind, or other courts close by can hide one. Recording closer to the baseline and keeping the phone out of the wind helps most.
My forehands are labelled as backhands
Tell the app which hand you play with: Profile → Settings → You play. Every session already on your phone is relabelled straight away.
A session didn't finish cutting
Cutting runs on the phone and stops if the app is closed or the phone locks part-way. Open FlowTennis and leave it open with the screen on — an interrupted session is picked up and finished automatically.
AI coaching
AI coaching is off until you agree to it. When it is on, small still frames of single shots are sent to be analysed — never your video or audio. Turn it off any time in Profile → Account → Coaching. More in the privacy policy.
Deleting your account
In the app: Profile → Account → Delete my account. That removes your account and everything stored for it. Recordings on your phone stay until you delete them. You can also email us and we will do it.
